The research project "The anatomy of Iberian polyphonic music from the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries" (PTDC / CPC-MMU / 0314/2014) offers to all accademics an open-access resource and research tool of Hispanic and Portuguese music between 1470 and 1520. This is a research project located at the Unviersidade Nova de Lisboa and coordinated by João Pedro d'Alvarenga. Its goals are contextualize and value Hispanic music in the context of the European polyphony.
Specifically, the Archive includes the critical edition of both profane and sacred musics, and researches could search by author, piece, source, and even it includes a specific section with lyrics of all compositions. It is, without a doubt, an essential tool for the accademics intereseted in this period and promises to continue enriching itself with new repertoire.
